RES failed to get to the floor yesterday

Disappointing news today, RES author Senator Ellen Anderson tried to get
the RES to the senate floor yesterday, but the motion to take the bill
off the table (which I believe means putting it in play for a vote)
failed on a tied vote, 32 to 32.  I don't know what the next steps for
the bill are.  However, I think OUR next steps would be to lean on those
senators who voted "no" to even getting the bill off the table.  You can
see the list below.  

If you know anyone in the districts of any of the listed nay-saying
senators-encourage calls and letters.

Despite this, I hope you are all enjoying spring and using it to help
regenerate you: Take time to watch and listen to the birds, enjoy
watching the trees bud, and take time to get outside in the glory of
nature we are working so hard to protect.
