I will be discussing some useful channels of information and action at the June 4th 9:30 Forum and would welcome input from SA members.

FUS Social Action folks -
Our meeting time on June 4th was set for noon-2pm, as usual - but it
looks like we should consider changing that.

Let's take a poll:

- how many could make it to the meeting if it was held noon-2pm?
- how many could make a meeting from 1-3pm?
- how many prefer later in the day, 3-5pm?

Thanks.

more
than 1, if you can. Also shovels.

On June 4th work will be done on the Agape II playground using
the money
from Pearson Fund that RE and Social Action applied for together
last
fall. We will be putting wood chips under the playground
equipment.
Besides labor, we need wheelbarrows, shovels and strong pruning
clippers.
Agape will cook lunch for the workers. RE is recruiting from the
teen
group. There will be a few RE adults as well.

Both Social Action and the kids need to be back at FUS by 1:00
for
meetings. The block of time will be approx. 10:00 or 10:30 to
12:30,
including lunch.

The playground is 1911 W. Broadway.

Any volunteers?
