Congratulations to Social Action for winning the opportunity to contribute a 
significant amount to what's needed for continuing work by Habitat for 
Humanity at Heritage Park!  Other UU congregations participating in UUAHP 
efforts at Heritage Park will be adding their contributions later in the 
year.  The UU money will be added to the amounts being raised by the 
downtown congregations (Congregations Building Communities).

THE FIRST MEETING FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS WILL BE WED., JANUARY 10, 6:00 P.M. 
FOR A LIGHT SUPPER AND A "SERVICE AUCTION 101" SESSION WITH OUR AUCTIONEER, 
KURT JOHNSON.  IT SHOULD BE AN INFORMATIVE AND FUN KICK-OFF FOR WHAT WE HOPE 
WILL BE ANOTHER RECORD-BREAKING EVENT.  Kurt enjoys work our auctions and 
thinks that, with a little tweeking, we can do even better than we have.

Please RSVP for this event to Carol Koepp or Jane Deitl so we can plan 
appropriatly.  Thanks
