I have 4 people interested (including me) from my discovery group. They are three who usually don't go with us, so expect to hear from the "hard core" at the next mtg. which is scheduled for Apr. 13 - o-o-ps, just realized that's the workshop date. I'll have to see about adjustments to the schedule. ----- Original Message ----- From: <jojane [at] juno.com>

Subject: [sa-talk] RACE exhibit and discussion?

Is anyone interested in the RACE exhibit, on May 13th? There will be a
soup lunch that day, so we could have a bite to eat and leave FUS around
12:30....

resending info -
... the current Science Museum of MN exhibit - RACE: are we so
different? I found it VERY worthwhile and useful; and I could easily
replicate the "talking circle" questions and reflection experience that
followed, for interested FUS folks. (usually there is a charge for that,
but the questions are straightforward, and we could easily move through
them ...at no cost...sitting in the little cafe area....). SO, the
question is: do some folks want to go to the Science Museum together, as
part of our commitment to racial justice, and use the exhibit and
follow-up reflection conversation as a training opportunity? The date I
could go is Sunday, May 13th (warning - it's Mother's Day...) - we could
car-pool from FUS, leaving around noon or so....
