      Dear ,

      Take action to prevent genocide by participating in the Pledge 2 Protect 
Conference being held in Washington, DC November 6-9. This event, hosted by the 
Genocide Intervention Networkâs student division STAND, is a great opportunity 
to learn more about genocide prevention and particular conflicts of concern 
around the globe. Find out what you can do to strengthen lobbying efforts to 
prevent genocide and become part of this worldwide movement to stop such

      During the Conference, the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office 
will be hosting a  UU gathering to discuss how we can bring genocide prevention 
education and advocacy efforts back to our congregations. Please let us know if
