Hello, Minnesota Film Arts, a non-profit film exhibitor with the Oak Street Cinema, will be showing a half dozen Jewish films over the first three weekends in November (Nov 6-22). Films are to include early Yiddish Cinema, which was referenced in the new Coen Bros Film, to a critical look at current anti-semitic behavior in France, to the Psychology of a family denying its Nazi past. This series will also include a free screening of the new documentary Schmatta, on the New York garment buisness. This series focuses on strong interfaith and humanistic themes. We hope to work with you in some capacity to spread the word on this event to your members/community. If you have time to discuss the possibilities or would like more information please call our office, 612.331.7563. Attached is our official press release, and calendar with detailed information on the series and the Oak Street Cinema. Thank you for your time and we hope to see you at the movies!
