Urge Senator Coleman and your U.S. Representative to support the Climate Stewardship Act. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD! Note: Senator Dayton and Representative McCollum already support the Cimate Stewardship Act, as bill sponsors. THE CLIMATE STEWARDSHIP ACT has been reintroduced in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. This bipartisan bill, introduced by Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Joseph Lieberman (D-Conn.), is the first comprehensive plan for reducing U.S. emissions of heat-trapping gases that contribute to global warming. The Climate Stewardship Act sets mandatory limits on emissions from relevant sectors of the economy, and encourages an increase in energy efficiency and clean, renewable electricity. It will be the first time the U.S. acts to reduce emissions that contribute to global warming. Contact Senator Norm Coleman today to urge him to support the Climate Stewardship Act.
