Just got this from MoveOn.org. They are getting rallies going in many
cities. It will make a powerful statement if huge numbers of people can
respond spontaneously. Take only about 17 more Republican votes to over ride
the President's immoral veto. Publicity will raise the public consciousness
on this issue and perhaps shame more Republicans into supporting it at fear
of raising the ire of their constitutent parents and grandparents. If there
is a positive role for shame in our society, I'd say this is it!
