Thanks, Fred, for setting up this Bird Flu mailing list and sending out the 
additional invitations.  

One update for invitees: For more information before I am back home (hopefully 
2/6/06), please contact the other members of FUS on the ad hoc Task Force on 
Emergency Preparedness for Avian Flu, who attended our 1/4/06 meeting and whose 
postings you may see in the archives:  Pete Raynor, Mark Gibbons, Sue Tincher, 
Jim Stroebel (FUS staff), or Pat Jordan.

Also, check a booksource for publications on avian flu, especially Davis's The 
Monster At Our Door: The Global Threat Of Avian Flu.   Amazon.com has some 
authoritative, informative reviews of the book.

There is an option available to those who accept the invitation: 1> Receive 
each posting as soon as it is posted, 2> Receive at most one email each day 
containing any and all postings, and 3> Simply sign on periodically to check 
what's in the Bird Flu archives.

Also, if you know people in other UU congregations who may be interested or 
have some expertise to contribute to the discussion, please feel free to ask 
Fred Olson to send them the same invitation.
