Subject: Saying goodbye to Jack Heckelman

Linda Bergh asked me to let you all know (if you were not present for Kate's
message during our service at First Universalist Church this morning) that
Jack
died early this morning.

Following a ritual washing of his body this afternoon, friends are welcome
to
stop by their home to sit and say goodbye this evening and both Monday and
Tuesday.

over

A memorial service will be held in about two weeks.  More information to
follow on those details.

I will miss him as a mentor and motivator to connect more deeply with the
earth spirits.
 I was fortunate to visit with him briefly yesterday.  While it was
difficult for him to speak,
it was clear he was grateful for all we are doing to carry on his work.
