Feb. 25, 12 noon University of Minnesota Free but must register on website

 Hosted by Macalester College and University of MN students  The Minnesota 
Citizens Conference for Energy and Climate Action is an inclusive, educational 
and results-oriented summit being organized by Macalester College and 
University of Minnesota students, with the intent to establish WeCAN, the World 
Energy Community Action Network, a coalition of citizens including students, 
union members, members of faith communities, local businesses, farmers, 
non-profit groups, and Minnesota residents dedicated to helping their 
communities with the transition to clean energy and sustainable ways of living.
 This conference is the first step towards expanding our coalition to all 
reaches of Minnesota and bringing together all levels of ideas and action. The 
primary goal of the conference is to unite and expand current groups and 
projects working for energy and climate change solutions.
