The packets were mailed right after the meeting. The following people are reminded to call their contact at each church to tell them the packet is coming: 1. Cecelia - Bemidji, Grand Rapids, and First Universalist. 2. Lisa - Bloomington, Burnsville, Unity, and Rochester. 3. Jo - Brainerd, Excelsoir, and Willmar. 4. Congregations Caring for Creation (CCC), of which we are a part, has a booth in the Eco Experience Building (run by the MPCA) at the north end of the Fair from 9am to 9pm from Aug 21 to Sept 1. The booth is setup and supplied with materials by the Center for Energy and the Environment (CEE), which is a non-profit organization with a paid staff person present at our booth from 11am to 5pm. Marcy will be the master sign up person for CCC for people to be present at the booth. White Bear has agreed to handle one weekday from 9am to 9pm. Marcy will ask Madeline Cioci (FUS) to do booth training prior to the Fair. We think there needs to be a recycling display included at our booth, and a list of stores that sell and take back used CFLs. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday May 13 at First Universalist at 7pm.
