MUUSJA invites you to Join HIRE Minnesota to Mourn the Passing of Another
Failed Construction Season

For 17 years the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has failed
to meet its hiring goals for people of color.  Please join us to stand in
coalition with communities that are holding MnDOT accountable.

 

HIRE Minnesota will stage a funeral procession to mark the passing of yet
another construction season without real progress.  We will meet at Lao
Family Community of Minnesota and march to the MnDOT headquarters, where we
will hold a funeral to grieve for the loss of opportunity for people of
color at MnDOT.  A small delegation of HIRE Minnesota members - including a
MUUJA representative - will then proceed inside the MnDOT headquarters to
meet with Commissioner Tom Sorel and demand that systems be in place to
bring back hope for better outcomes in 2010!

 

We are more powerful with more voices!  Join us to make sure MnDOT hears our
call for justice and equity!
