FUS Social Action folks -   2 things:

1. PLEASE VOTE by email, so Jay can do some needed advanced promotions
for this September event - he is organizing a fundraiser to contribute to
the rebuilding of areas in Lebanon and Israel affected by the recent war.

DO YOU SUPPORT the request that FUS Social Action should co-sponsor the
fundraising event?

2. Jay - please clarify -
when you say you want FUS to be the main sponsor - what will that mean,
aside from the promotional material stating FUS Social Action (assuming a
majority of votes support your request...) ?  Do you want people to
contact you if they can help with the event?  Do you want Social Action
to consider a contribution?  Etc....

Hi Jo. Please inform the members of the FUS Social Action Group that I
have been making arrangements to raise money for aid to redevelop the
damaged areas of Lebanon and Israel. I have reserved the dates of
September 17th or 24th at FUS, 4-6 p.m. for an info session and
fund-raising event. Veterans For Peace, United Nations Association and
most likely the American Refugee Committee will cosponsor the event. I
would like the FUS to be the main sponsor. Please get back to me. Jay's
