I vote yes! Adele
Hi, all - see note from Jan Devor, below.
You may remember that SAC contributed $500 to match funds rasied by our RE youth, for homeless services....was it a year ago? two years ago? Anyhoo, they are participating in the project once again, on April 20th....which is before our annual planning retreat on April 29th - so I'm sending this email to get your vote. If my memory is correct, we decided to contribute $500 toward the effort, whether FUS youth raised more or less than that amount. So....
Please respond with your vote re: contributing $500 to the annual "sleep out" event, in support of FUS youth as they raise awareness of homelessness, & raise funds to contribute to services for homeless people.
My personal vote = yes.
Thanks. Jo

... our Coming of Age and youth groups are sleeping out on the street in a cardboard boxes to raise funds for the homeless on April 20th. This is a fundraiser coordinated by the Plymouth Congregation Church. Any chance that the social justice committee might match the youthís pledges?
