Hello everyone,

I am all for buying a banner ... a large and personalized one ... but the bigger question for me is how will it be used? Few people will see it if there is only one banner and it is simply attached to the entrance of our building.

On Mother's Day Rog, Jan Scofield, and I held signs down by the corner and we were overwhelmed by the positive and enthusiastic response we received from everyone who passed by. There was not a single negative response but dozens of "thank you for doing this" comments. We thought that it would be nice if we could do this regularly on a specific Sunday a month and, perhaps, invite people from Hennepin Avenue Methodist and St. Marks to join us. We regretted that we did not have a banner indicating that we were with the First Unitarian Society. Could we use the FUS banner in the future? Is ANYONE interested? There is plenty of Social Action money to purchase one or two banners; do we also have a plan to use them and display them where others will see them?
