Hello everyone,

I received an email from Jeff Norman, the man who sets up venues for 
Scott Ritter, former UN Weapons Inspector in Iraq, asking if I could 
help find a venue for Scott to speak in the Twin Cities near the time of 
the RNC.  (I imagine that Madeline and others received this as well.)  I 
spoke to him about the First Unitarian, spoke to Kendyl, and also 
checked the dates of August 30th through September 4th or 5th on the FUS 
calendar and those dates are free.  I communicated that information back 
to Jeff and so I am just letting you know about this possibility. Scott 
has written six books; the last two were "Target Iran" (2006) and 
"Waging Peace" (2007). They would like to charge $10 admission and, I 
imagine, will also want to sell his most recent book.

What do you think?  If they decide that they want to be at FUS, shall 
FUS Social Action sponsor this?  I think that he will draw a large 
attendance, don't you?
