Just to let you know that I have resigned as Minnesota Alliance of Peacemakers 
(MAP) Secretary, and that the MAP Executive Committee has asked me to continue 
as Communications Coordinator for the MAP Online Action Tool.  Because at this 
time I am no longer a member of the MAP Exec. Committee, I could serve as MAP 
Delegate from FUS.  I don't think this requires any formal action by FUS SAC.  
Would anyone like to serve as Alternate Delegate?  Meetings of Delegates are 
every other month on the second Tues. starting in February.  They run from 
11:30 am to 1:30 pm, unless you might be interested in also attending the Think 
Tank occasionally at 10:15 am right before the meetings.

 

One Delegate per organization is allowed to vote at meetings.  We act as 
liaisons, bringing FUS Peace, Justice or Environmental actions or events to MAP 
for publicizing, potential collaboration and participation, and calling 
attention to MAP or MAP member events and actions that we think would be of 
interest to FUS for the same.

Actions and Events can be posted for local interest on the MAP website and 
calendar and sent to member list as messages; News Items of national interest 
can be posted to the MAP website, which also post automatically and 
instantaneously to ALL 50 STATES in the network.
