Progressives' Progress social network

Bill Weir ( as "BillMpls" ) has created a social networking site
called "Progressives' Progress".  He posted an "invitation" to join
the network to this list however such invitations are incompatible
with mailing lists (they are intended to go to individuals).  So I've
re-written the invitation more generically below.
