Come and celebrate peace, the winter solstice and community

This will be a wonderful time for Peaceful People to come and meet each
other - plus good food and a great concert.  Oak Center is located down
Hwy 61, through Red Wing, to Lake City, MN, - then south on Hwy 63 toward
Rochester about 10 miles to the berg of Oak Center.  Don't blink or you'll
miss it. 

Steve and Susan Schwen hope to get lots of like-minded souls together in

HEAR YE, HEAR YE ALL ACTIVISTS FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE AND THE CHANGE WE
WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD....we want to gather with you and eat, drink and
be merry during the solstice season and plan some fun peace events
together for 2004! 

You are invited to an organic CHILI feed party followed by the Buffalo
Gals
Concert at Oak Center Sat Dec 20 ($5 donation suggested)

Gals.....(dancing allowed!)

The ever popular Buffalo Gals are back to put on a winter solstice concert
of super swingin' cowgirl stomps and Cajun ditties once again! They swing,
they have fiddlin' duos, they yodel, they do the old stuff with pizzaz and
style, and they do it with great sophistication and acute charm! The band
is Betsy Neil and Mary DuShane dueling it out like the old friends they
are on fiddles and harmonies, Maureen Mullen on guitar and vocals, Kathy
Mosher on lead vocals, bells, and tinwhistle, and the gal of gals, bass
player Doug Lohman (a guy!).
