Dear Peacemakers,

The video showing of vignettes from A Force More Powerful, originally
scheduled for February 16, has been rescheduled for March 29th

A FORCE MORE POWERFUL

MONDAY, MARCH 29, 6:30 PM
Hospitality Hall, St. Joan of Arc Church
4537 Third Avenue South, Minneapolis

These moving documetaries show the tremendous power of nonviolent
action in effecting governments and nations.

Two vignettes will be shown, the first demonstrating how Danish leaders,
following the German military invasion of Denmark, used a strategy of
"resistance disguised as collaboration" to rescue all but a handful of
Denmark's seven thousand Jews. A second vignette shows how Chilean
workers, under the severe repression of the Pinochet government, initiated a
wave of nonviolent protests which led to his defeat in a 1988 referendum.

The presentation will be followed by discussion and practical application to
our local peace work.

We hope you will come and bring your friends. Peace in the struggle,
