Peak Oil  expert Richard Heinberg, author of The Party's Over: Oil, War and 
the  Fate of Industrial Societies will discuss implications of the  dwindling 
oil supply, such as rising gas prices, energy scarcity, and the  potentially 
violent competition for resources, and his vision for adapting  to the 
post-carbon world and the potential silver lining if we do it  right. Rev. Kate 
Tucker 
of First  Universalist  Church  will provide a faith perspective in her  
introduction.

of Women's  Int'l League for Peace and Freedom invites you to a video on the 
Peace  Train to Beijing journey in 1995 when 230 women (20 from  Minnesota) 
traveled for many days across  Eastern  Europe,  Central  Asia, and  China to 
the UN Conference on Women in  Beijing. Discussion with coffee and snacks will 
follow on  the worldwide movement for women's rights in the 10 years since the  
conference.
