A. UPCOMING UU EVENTS

UU  ECOMINDS FALL KICK-OFF MEETING. Hear Representative Ray Cox speaking 
about  the MN 2020 Renewable Energy Bill. Renewable energy and conservation 
will  
be the strategy-duo UU EcoMinds will use this year to focus on curbing  global 
warming. Join us to discuss campaigns and activities for the  upcoming year. 
Plus! Plan to arrive early to catch a special showing of  Jeff Barrie's film, 
Kilowatt Ours: Plan to Reenergize America. The  film will start at 6pm and 
lasts about 40min. Light refreshments and  drinks will be available or you can 
bring a bag dinner.

As  individuals and as congregations let's celebrate all we can do in the

Here’s  your chance to learn what other metro UUs and UU congregations are 
doing  to promote social justice! Bring photos and handouts to share! Get to 
know  other UUs who share a strong commitment to justice. The gathering will  
include a short introduction on In-reach, a process for intentionally  building 
relationships for social change. This fall, MUUSJA will be  offering a special 
training on In-reach for UUs committed to carrying this  process out in their 
congregations. We’ll also hear from a new UU group  that’s proposing to 
organize UUs statewide to fight against a proposed  constitutional ban on gay
