Check out http://www.uujec.org and sign to host the movie at: http://www.walmartmovie.com/faith.php UUJEC's Campaign co-chair is Betsy Allis at erallis [at] aol.com Many are asking why the faith community should get involved in the fight to improve Wal-Mart's business model. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "Human progress never rolls in on wheels of inevitability; it comes through the tireless efforts of men (and women) willing to be co-workers with God, and without this hard work, time itself becomes an ally of the forces of social stagnation." Progress will only come when people of good will stand and speak for those who suffer unduly from economic subterfuge, deficient health care plans, and inconsolable environmental practices. * GET INVOLVED IN UUA STUDY/ACTION/ISSUE PROCESS Check out the following SAI materials online at http://www.uua.org/csw 1.
