UU ECOMINDS RENEWABLE ENERGY, CONSERVATION  CAMPAIGN.  
EcoMinds is working to engage metro UUs in  achieving two goals: passage of a 
Renewable Energy Standard (RES) in  partnership with the United Steelworkers 
and initiation of  congregation-based campaigns to conserve energy. For more

take  action against threats to health and the eco-system even in the absence

influential ideas 
of the year.  Raffensperger  is an environmental lawyer and founding director

UU SHOWINGS of WAL-MART: THE HIGH PRICE OF  LOW COST, Robert Greenwald's 
eye-opening documentary on Wal-Mart. 95  minutes. Discussion follows. The

are part of a national campaign  sponsored by UUs for a Just Economic 
Community (UUJEC) to engage UUs in  working collaboratively with the United 
Food and 
Commercial Workers and  interfaith partners to hold Wal-Mart accountable for

ORGANIZING  AND STRATEGY MEETING: UU'S OUT FOR MARRIAGE.  UUO4M is a new 
working  group of MUUSJA. Our goal is to organize and mobilize UUs across  
Minnesota  to fight against the expected anti-marriage constitutional  
amendment.  
Join us as we organize our campaign to bring a statewide  UU moral voice into 
the coalitions forming for the 2006 legislative  session to convince 
legislators 
to keep the amendment off the  ballot.  We need your ideas and your help!

Colleen  Rowley, FBI Special Agent. 
While serving as chief division counselor  for the Minneapolis office of the 
FBI, Ms. Rowley garnered considerable  media attention in 2002 for
speaking out on what she saw as the  Bureau's ineffective investigation of 
Zacarias Moussawi, a suspected link  to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

CALL  ON TARGET TO "FILL MY PILLS NOW!"  
On  September 30th, Target refused to fill a prescription for emergency  
contraception for a 25-year-old woman in Fenton,  Missouri.  The pharmacist 
said:  
"I won't  fill it. It's my right not to fill it." Planned Parenthood 
supporters  generated over 91,000 emails and telephone calls to Target, 
demanding a  
policy that guarantees prescriptions are filled in-store, without delay.  These 
letters have not been enough, and it is time to increase public  attention 
about this issue.

Planned  Parenthood will provide signs, chants, and an opportunity to stand 
up for  birth control.

national group of 22 artists from  all faith traditions were asked: How do
