Join members of First Unitarian Society together with Citizens for a Safer
Minnesota to lobby against a "Shoot First" bill and to support background
checks for firearm purchases.  FUS will be a part of the "One Voice for the
Northside" event, with the North Side Lobbying Coalition, which is speaking
out on several issues including gun violence.  We will tell legislators that
what is good for North Minneapolis is good for the state.

There will be food, spirited singing, an inspirational talk by local UU
Seminarian Kelli Clement, a presentation of the 1st Universalist SR High
Comprehensive Sex Ed project with Elliot Altbaum & Leo Alberti, and
information for navigating the Capitol and legislator meetings from Keily
Todd Roska, Director of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.

Pizza and refreshments will be served.  T-shirts and buttons will be
available for a donation.  Pro Choice Lobby day will be Tuesday morning,
March 4th, at the Minnesota Capitol.

machine security breaches, an alarming number of undervotes, and allegedly
illegal behavior by a voting machine vendor, all of which threaten the very

revenues, raise them fairly, and invest in Minnesota. Join us on Friday Feb.
